How the Process Works
-
Identify your basic need(s) first and write them down. You may want a new wall or a complete renovation of your space. Discuss these needs with your department head for initial departmental approval.
-
Once approved, contact our department by filling out the "Project Development Request Form" seen below under item 6. Once this is done, you will be directed to a manager who will discuss your needs, review your scope of work and generate a Project Approval Form, (PAF).
-
A PAF identifies the department and contact person, work requested, justification of request, an estimate of costs, and a place to identify the funding source(s).
-
Once the PAF is approved, FP&C will develop a set of bidding documents in our department or with architects and engineers for contractors to price competitively.
-
Once prices are received and approved, we enter into a formal agreement with a contractor for the construction of your project. A FP&C manager will be responsible to see your project through to successful completion.
-
As the initial step of developing a project with FP&C, please fill out the following Project Development Request Form.
